My name is Giovanis Montero and my goal is to inspire community connectedness online and in life.

What does that mean?

I believe that everyone should be connected to their community.

My passion lies in establishing, cultivating and deepening partnerships to achieve goals that are beneficial to all parties.

With over ten years of community relations experience, I served as a liaison with businesses, schools and local organizations. My business development efforts resulted in increased collaborative relationships with local employers. The Hispanic outreach activities I conducted led to successfully positioning the organization I worked for as a trusted community partner.

I was a member of the Board of Directors for two Chambers of Commerce and for a non-profit Foundation. I also enjoyed volunteering for several non-profit agencies.

Growing up while my father was in the military meant moving every few years. It was an adventure, as well as an education in human relations. We have more in common with one another regardless of our culture, race or nationality.

I believe that how an individual interacts with others reflects who they truly are and that it’s those interactions that define us.
